Large Animal Emergency

Pilchuck Veterinary Hospital fulfills a vital role in the Western Washington area as a 24-hour emergency care service that includes both an emergency referral center and local ambulatory service. We believe this provides our clients with an invaluable and essential service, and are proud of the quality of the care and attention your horse receives when they are seen by our team of veterinarians. Our ambulatory veterinarians are ready to attend any emergencies within our local practice radius day or night.  They also see small ruminants on an emergency basis at the hospital facility.

If the case requires more involved diagnostics and care our hospital team is ready and waiting. The scope of the emergency cases that are treated by our emergency team varies from horses requiring wound management and observation, neonatal emergencies, severe surgical colics, to catastrophic fractures. We are dedicated to minimizing stress in critical situations by focusing on both the patient's and client's wellbeing.
