PVH Serving as Oso Slide Donation Station

Published on July 18, 2017

Our thoughts remain with our neighbors affected by the mudslide. Like everyone, we want to do what we can to help those in need and those involved in search efforts.

- Working with Northwest Equine Stewardship Center (www.facebook.com/nwesc) and Cedarbrook Veterinary Care, who are leading the Oso, Arlington and Darrington Equine Relief Effort, Pilchuck is now accepting donations of hay and grain products for our horse friends in need.

- We are also collecting items for small animals: pet food, bedding, treats, etc.

- The donations will be delivered to those who need them. You can drop off these items at PVH (11308 92nd St SE, Snohomish) 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday, 8am to 12pm Saturday, at the trailer near equine reception. We will also be collecting cash donations for the Red Cross.

- Beginning Friday, March 27, PVH small-animal veterinarian Dr. Dini McGregor will be heading to the base camp in our ambulance, loaded with veterinary supplies, to be there in case any of the search dogs need a doctor’s care while they are doing their important work.

- Reminder: Everett Animal Shelter (www.facebook.com/Everettanimals) is working with the Snohomish County Department of Emergency Management and Red Cross as the primary animal welfare organization for people with lost or found animals.
